NOCTURE NOIR

Legend has it that towards the end of the 17th century, the Swedes first popularised the union between coffee and alcohol with a maxim that ritualized a two-step process - birthed first from the placement of a coin at the base of a cup and pouring coffee till its existence was obscured, followed by the addition of alcohol till the coin regained visibility.

From boardrooms to bedrooms, this practice - sans coin - has found its way into contemporary society due to its power to bring one’s consciousness to that sweet spot between alertness and relaxation.

Nocturne Noir was birthed from an inter-generational obsession with exploring the alchemy of single-origin Colombia highland (cherry-picked) Arabica Beans administered through a rigorous 5x still copper distillation process and multi-filtered with lava rocks and quartz sand - to create the ultimate Coffee Spirit. The brand, which is produced in artisanal quantities: was a Gold Medal recipient at the World Spirits Competition in 2019 & 2020.

Nocturne Noir exists in a category of its own, and we wanted the packaging to reflect its enigmatic yet refined heritage while carrying a depth of luxury befitting of the laborious process required to perfect the world of flavours and attention to detail cradled within each and every bottle.

The bottle is deliberately chiselled in a multi-dimensional manner with angles to denote its status as an object of desire that, when viewed under the appropriate lighting conditions: evokes the illuminative qualities and magnetism of a newly discovered gem baptized in the warmth of an amber glow - just waiting to be unleashed from a weighted golden cap.

The labels are forged from a metallic foil that holds onto its integrity even after being chilled. Spotting a gold ‘double-N’ logo mark amidst patterns that hint at Nocturne Noir’s compulsive attention to both ingredient selection and craftsmanship, the darkened backdrop beckons its audience to partake of an undiscovered world within each bottle.
